Vintage 18ct White Gold Ruby and Diamond Halo Pendant Necklace

A fine vintage pendant necklace in 18ct white gold, set with a certified 1.25 carat oval ruby of Thai origin with no heat treatment, surrounded by a scalloped milgrain halo of round brilliant diamonds totalling approximately 1 carat, graded H/VS. The ruby is deeply saturated — a rich, vivid red — and the no-heat designation is a mark of genuine rarity; the overwhelming majority of rubies on the market have been heat treated to improve their colour, making an unenhanced stone of this quality and size a meaningful find. The milgrain-edged scalloped halo is a beautifully period detail that softens the setting and gives the pendant a quietly vintage character.
