15ct Amethyst Station Long Chain

An elegant antique 15ct gold chain necklace, set with four rhombus-cut amethysts in millegrain bezels. Each stone is spaced evenly along a fine openwork infinity-link chain, creating a delicate rhythm of colour and form. The amethysts shimmer softly in tones of lavender and lilac, beautifully complemented by the rich hue of the antique gold.

The necklace fastens with a later 9ct gold clasp, likely a period replacement. Measuring 24.5 inches, it drapes gracefully and layers beautifully with shorter Edwardian or Georgian chains. The refined geometric symmetry suggests an Edwardian to early Art Deco origin, c.1910–1925.
