18ct Ruby and Diamond Gypsy Ring

A bold and elegant mid-century gypsy ring, crafted in rich 18ct yellow gold, Italian, circa 1960.

The ring features a vivid round-cut natural ruby weighing approximately 1.07 carats, heat-treated and of Thai origin, set flush within a smooth domed band. Flanking the ruby are two bright brilliant-cut diamonds totalling approximately 0.24 carats, graded J colour, SI clarity. The gemstones are securely gypsy-set, their fire and brilliance enhanced by the polished gold surface.
