A crisp Art Deco three-stone ring in 18ct white gold, set with a row of three emerald-cut diamonds totalling approximately 1.50ct, graded I colour and VS clarity. Each stone is rubover-set within a fine milgrain-edged collet, the beaded borders softening the hard geometry just enough — a detail that is pure 1920s, and one no modern setting bothers with.
The emerald cut is the most architectural of all diamond cuts, its long step facets giving depth and clarity rather than fire, and three of them in a row make a beautifully calm, linear statement. Mounted on a slim tapering band that sits flat and comfortable, it is a striking alternative to a conventional solitaire, and every bit as wearable.
