An exceptional and rare Georgian rock crystal “pool of light” watch fob, crafted in 18ct yellow gold. The circular crystal case reveals its fully visible working movement through a clear rock crystal dome on both sides, creating a captivating floating effect characteristic of “pool of light” jewellery.
The watch features a pristine white enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued-steel hands, suspended from a heavy double-stranded gold chain. Remarkably, it remains in working order and is accompanied by its original watch key — a rare survival from the early 19th century.
This piece embodies the technical precision and refined artistry of the Georgian era, making it both a functional timepiece and a striking pendant jewel.
