c.1890 15ct Gold Floral Locket

A striking late-Victorian locket, dating to c.1890 and crafted in the UK, combining warm 15ct gold with a richly toned gunmetal front. The oval face is adorned with an applied floral spray set throughout with rose-cut diamonds, their soft, antique sparkle standing out beautifully against the dark ground.

The locket opens to reveal a glazed compartment intended for a photograph or keepsake, making it an intimate sentimental jewel as well as a strong statement pendant.
