A refined Art Deco era "Baby" brooch, c.1930, featuring deep royal blue guilloché enamel. The sterling silver mounting is designed with a central lozenge-shaped plaque, centering the word "Baby" in crisp silver block lettering.
The enamel is set against a fine engine-turned ground, providing a subtle shimmer beneath the translucent cobalt tones. The design is elegantly finished with tapered foliate shoulders featuring hand-engraved leaf motifs. This piece is a wonderful example of the sophisticated use of colour in Interwar nursery jewellery. It remains in excellent condition, complete with its original pin and C-clasp.
