A substantial and finely crafted 18ct yellow gold signet ring, hallmarked Birmingham, 1926. This classic interwar piece features a heavy square-profile face, expertly deep-etched with a heraldic Lion Rampant crest.
The lion is depicted in a traditional stance atop a heraldic wreath, showing crisp detail despite its century of history. Adding to its unique provenance, the interior of the band features a beautifully preserved contemporary engraving that reads "Mother". This personal touch suggests the ring was a significant sentimental gift or commemorative piece from the mid-1920s. The shoulders taper elegantly into a solid D-section band, providing a comfortable and weighty feel on the hand.
