An exceptional antique ruby and diamond ring, fully hallmarked Chester, 1912. This elegant five-stone design features three vivid natural rubies alternating with two old-cut diamonds, all claw-set in a beautifully carved gallery with ornate scrolling shoulders.
The combination of fiery rubies and antique-cut diamonds creates a striking contrast against the warm glow of the 18ct yellow gold band. The presence of the Chester assay hallmark and early 20th-century date mark enhances its rarity, as the Chester Assay Office closed in 1962.
A stunning example of Edwardian craftsmanship, showcasing fine natural gemstones and delicate detailing — timeless, wearable, and full of history.
